本标准适用于球墨铸铁制弹性密封轻型闸阀。适用范围为公称压力不大于PN 16；介质为水,水温范围1 ℃～80 ℃；阀门全开时介质流速不超过4.9 m/s；公称尺寸DN 50～DN 1 200的暗杆型闸阀和公称尺寸DN 50～DN 600的明杆型闸阀。
