本标准规定了机床专用变频调速设备的设计、应用条件、技术要求、检验与判定、包装与贮存。
本标准适用于额定输入电压为交流 1 kV 等级及以下，额定输入频率为50 Hz 或60 Hz，输出电压不大于1 kV，输出频率小于600 Hz的机床用变频调速设备（以下简称“调速设备”）。
