本标准规定了55°密封和非密封管螺纹（Rp、Rc、R1、R2和G）、60°密封和干密封管螺纹（NPT、NPSC、NPTF、PTFSAE SHORT、NPSF和NPSI）以及米制密封螺纹（Mc和Mp）的收尾、肩距、退刀槽和倒角尺寸。55°密封和非密封管螺纹分别符合GB/T 7306（所有部分）和GB/T 7307的规定；60°密封和干密封管螺纹分别符合GB/T 12716和GB/T 27944的规定；米制密封螺纹符合GB/T 1415的规定。本标准适用于管螺纹产品的设计和加工。
