本标准规定了测定碳纤维增强塑料孔隙含量和纤维体积含量的原理、试验材料、试验设备、试样、试验条件、试验步骤、计算、试验结果以及试验报告等。
本标准适用于测定单向、正交及多向铺层的碳纤维增强塑料的孔隙含量、纤维体积含量。芳纶和玻璃纤维增强塑料也可参照采用，但不适用于织物增强塑料的纤维体积含量的测定。
