本标准规定了日常防护型口罩的术语与定义、分级、技术要求、测试方法、检验规则、包装、标识及储运要求。
本标准适用于在日常生活中空气污染环境下滤除颗粒物所佩戴的防护型口罩。
本标准不适用于缺氧环境、水下作业、逃生、消防、医用及工业防尘等特殊行业用呼吸防护用品也不适用于婴幼儿、儿童呼吸防护用品。
