GB/T 32620的本部分规定了电动道路车辆用铅酸蓄电池的型号编制及极性标识、蓄电池型号及分类、蓄电池端子位置和端子尺寸、标记。
本部分适用于以蓄电池作为主要动力源的电动汽车、电动三轮车、高尔夫球车、旅游观光车、电动摩托车等额定容量在32 Ah（含32 Ah）以上使用的铅酸蓄电池（以下简称蓄电池）和蓄电池组。
本部分不适用于起动用、电动助力用、牵引用等其他用途的蓄电池和蓄电池组。
