本标准规定了四开及对开幅面的单张纸平版印刷机（以下简称印刷机）的术语和定义、型式与基本参数、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输与贮存。
本标准适用于四开及对开幅面（长边尺寸≥640 mm～＜1 092 mm）的单张纸单面印刷型式的印刷机，也适用于带翻转可变双面印刷功能的印刷机。
本标准不适用于单张纸双面平版印刷机。
