GB/T 32788的本部分规定了浸料挥发物含量的原理、仪器和设备、试样、试验条件、试验步骤、试验结果及试验报告。
本部分适用于以碳纤维、玻璃纤维、芳纶纤维等为增强材料，以热固性树脂为基体的预浸料挥发物含量的测定。
如果芳纶纤维作为增强材料，在试验温度下，纤维吸收的水分会与挥发物一同挥发，因此扣除水分含量来校正挥发物的含量。
注： 聚酯类树脂基体预浸料的测定结果比实际值低。
