GB/T 32967的本部分规定了采用分离式霍普金森扭杆对金属材料开展高应变速率扭转试验的术语和定义、符号、试验原理、试验设备、试样、试验程序、试验数据处理、试验结果有效性评估和试验报告等内容。

本部分适用于室温下对金属材料在应变速率范围为102 s-1～103 s-1时剪切应力剪切应变曲线等力学性能的测定。

注： 其他类型可施加高应变速率剪切加载的试验参照执行。
