本标准规定了液化二甲醚钢瓶的结构型式、材料、设计、制造、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、贮运和设计使用年限等。
本标准适用于在正常环境温度（－40 ℃～60 ℃）下使用、公称工作压力为1.6 MPa、公称容积不大于150 L，可重复盛装液化二甲醚（符合GB 25035规定）的钢质焊接气瓶(以下简称钢瓶)。
