本标准规定了铜铍合金锻件和挤压件的要求、订单信息、材料及制造、化学成分、状态、晶粒度、物理性能、力学性能、热处理、尺寸及允许偏差、工艺、最终加工及外观、试验方法等。
本标准适用于合金牌号为C17000（Be含量为1.7%）和C17200（Be含量为1.9%）的铜铍合金锻件和挤压件。标准中未注明合金牌号时，均为C17200铜铍合金。
