本标准规定了测定橡胶输送带覆盖层的耐热性相对程度的要求及其试验方法，并规定了覆盖层暴露于热环境之后的硬度、拉断伸长率和拉伸强度的容许变化范围。
本标准适用于覆盖层厚度等于或大于4 mm的情况。
本标准不适用于ISO 211831［1］中规定的输送带。
