本标准规定了电动汽车充电用电缆的使用特性、表示方法、技术要求、标志、试验方法和要求、检验规则以及电缆的包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于电动汽车传导充电连接装置用额定电压交流450/750 V及以下、直流1.0 kV及以下充电用电缆（可包括信号或控制线芯）。
