本标准规定了船舶修理过程中的材料使用要求、船舶常规修理重点对外交验项目、勘验要点、修理质量要求、修理过程质量控制及交验要求。
本标准适用于500总吨及以上钢质海洋船舶的常规修理，其他船舶参照使用。
本标准不适用于船舶的重大改装。
