本标准界定了高压直流(HVDC)输电用自换相电压源换流器相关的术语。
本标准主要适用于基于绝缘栅双极晶体管(IGBT)的电压源换流器(VSC)基于可通过控制动作开通和关断的其他类型半导体器件的电压源换流器(VSC)也可参照使用。
本标准不适用于高压直流(HVDC)输电系统中使用的电网换相换流器和电流源换流器。
