本标准规定了铸铁管件的分类、尺寸、外形、重量、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装和质量证明书、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于输送水及煤气用的承插连接和法兰连接的灰口铸铁管件及柔性机械接口铸铁管件。铸铁管件的使用应参照有关管道设计技术要求、施工规范。
柔性机械接口铸铁管件所用的压兰、螺栓、六角螺母、胶圈、支承环按GB/T 6483—2008中附录A、附录B、附录C的规定执行。
