本标准规定了船舶燃油锅炉（以下简称“锅炉”）经济运行的基本要求、运行分级、技术评判指标和测试方法等内容。

本标准适用于设计压力不大于2.5 MPa，介质为水和饱和蒸汽的蒸汽锅炉以及介质出口温度不超过120 ℃的热水锅炉。
