本标准规定了电机线圈/绕组绝缘介质损耗因数及其增量的测量方法。本标准适用于不同额定电压等级的旋转电机定子成型线圈/绕组，如额定电压等级为6 kV及以上的电机，也适用于单支定子线圈在铁心内外(即下线前后)和定子绕组的介质损耗因数及其增量的测量。本标准适用于已完成绝缘固化的线圈/绕组，不适用于未固化的线圈和绕组。
