本标准规定了将纺织品暴露于过滤氙弧试验仓内的人造气候(包括水和水蒸气的作用)中，以测定纺织品耐气候色牢度的方法。试验仓中的过滤氙弧光源模拟了CIE 85：1989中表4规定的太阳光谱辐照度。
本标准适用于纺织品的耐气候色牢度或耐老化性能的测试，也适用于白色(漂白或荧光增白)纺织品。
