本标准规定了采用规定粒径粒子单次通过法测定燃油滤清器原始滤清效率的试验方法、试验要求、试验程序及数据处理。

本标准适用于发动机燃油滤清器(以下简称滤清器)，其他用于燃油过滤的滤清器也可参照使用。为达到燃油滤清器不同试验流量下对单次通过试验的要求，应根据其流量合理选择滤清器试验台。
