GB/T 36214的本部分规定了使用SEC-LS（即与光散射检测器联用的体积排除色谱）测定聚合物平均分子量及其分布的通用测试方法。通过随洗脱时间连续测得分子量和质量浓度计算得到平均分子量和分子量分布。每处洗脱时间的分子量由与浓度敏感检测器联用的光散射检测器直接测定，因此SEC-LS是一种绝对方法。 本方法的应用见GB/T 36214.1-2018的A.1。
