本标准适用于：
--田间进行的土壤调查及评价；
--采样后在实验室对土壤及土壤物质进行化学、地球化学、物理、生物学及放射性特征的描述。
本标准对采样程序设计、野外操作步骤以及样本预制备（如干燥、研磨)之前运输和贮存所需处理提供了合适的方法。
