本标准规定了机械应力分级锯材的术语和定义、技术要求、测试方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存以及质量控制方法。

本标准适用于干燥处理后经过表面加工，且满足标准尺寸要求的针叶树锯材产品。其他树种或非标准的规格尺寸在同等条件下可参照执行。
