本标准规定了带式输送机的设计计算，用于确定带式输送机主要部件（如驱动装置、制动装置、拉紧装置、滚筒、托辊和输送带等）的基本参数与布置设计。

本标准适用于输送散状物料的带式输送机。

本标准不适用于钢丝绳牵引带式输送机、管状带式输送机、气垫带式输送机等特种带式输送机的设计计算，其通用部分的设计计算可参照使用本标准。
