本标准规定了船用水源热泵空调机组（以下简称空调机组）的型式与基本参数、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、贮存和运输。
本标准适用于船舶和海洋平台上以海水或船舶中央冷却水系统淡水为冷（热）源，采用蒸气压缩式制冷循环方式对空气进行冷却或加热的空调机组的设计、制造和验收。海洋平台上安装的热泵空调机组可参考使用。
