本标准规定了乙烯乙酸乙烯酯（EVAC）树脂的分类与命名、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志和随行文件、包装、运输和贮存。

本标准适用于以乙烯、乙酸乙烯酯为单体，在高压下聚合所制得的乙烯乙酸乙烯酯共聚物。共聚物中乙酸乙烯酯含量（质量分数）为3% ～ 40%。
