GB/T 3780的本部分规定了用统计技术分析炭黑生产过程控制中测试数据和用过程控制数据计算两种能力指数（Cp和Pp）的方法，并给出了由生产控制图数据计算过程能力和过程性能的报告格式。
本部分适用于进入产品储罐前生产流程中的造粒炭黑样品，本部分适用于GB 3778中的吸碘值、吸油值测试项目。
不适用于用槽车以及其他容器或已包装运输的样品。其方法也可用于炭黑产品其他项目的试验方法。
