本标准规定了救援头盔的技术要求、测试方法、检验规则、标识、制造商提供的信息等内容。
 本标准适用于工矿商贸企业生产安全事故（如冒顶片帮、塌方、高处坠落)、道路交通事故（公路交通事故、铁路交通事故)、自然灾害事故（如地质灾害、气象灾害)救援及相关活动中使用的头部防护装备。
本标准不适用于消防员在灭火救援时佩戴的头部防护装备。
