本标准规定了用紫外荧光法测定煤焦油中硫含量的测定方法和用化学发光法测定煤焦油中氮含量的测定方法。

本标准适用于水含量低于0.5%的中低温煤焦油、高温煤焦油中硫和氮含量的测定，硫的测定范围(质量分数)为0.10%~1.00%，氮的测定范围(质量分数)为0.50%~2.00%。
