本标准规定了表面活性剂工业烷基磺酸盐的pH值、含水量、游离碱或游离酸、石油醚可萃取物、总烷烃磺酸盐、烷烃单磺酸盐含量、亚硫酸盐、硫酸盐、氯化物含量等指标的试验方法。
本标准适用于粉状、浆状和液体工业烷基磺酸盐（不含与制备无关的任何产物）。
注： 本标准中工业烷基磺酸盐是指由不含支链化合物的直链烷基经磺氯化和磺氧化而制得的单磺酸或二磺酸的碱金属盐。
