本标准尤其关注实用超导线不同于常规铜和铝线的特性。
本标准适用于GB/T 2900.100-2017中2.4描述的多种超导线，包含单芯、多芯超导线，复合超导体和涂层导体，以及其他一体化结构的复合超导线。
本标准不适用于实用超导线以外的其他线（如原型、试样和开发中的线），以及多根线组成的导体（如电缆）。
