本标准规定了采用CIE1931标准色度系统或CIE1964标准色度系统表示颜色的方法。
在1°～4°视场时，采用CIE1931标准色度系统的三刺激值和色品坐标表示颜色；在大于4°视场时，采用CIE1964标准色度系统的三刺激值和色品坐标表示颜色。
本标准适用于物体色（包括反射色和透射色）和光源色。
