本标准规定了包装用聚乙烯吹塑薄膜（以下简称薄膜）的产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则以及标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于低密度聚乙烯（PE-LD）、线形低密度聚乙烯（PE-LLD）、中密度聚乙烯（PE-MD）、高密度聚乙烯（PE-HD）等树脂及以上树脂共混为主要原料，用吹塑法生产的直接包装用和复合膜基材用薄膜。
