本标准规定了高压交流断路器用均压电容器的适用范围、术语、技术要求、试验、标志及安全要求等。
 本标准适用于并联连接在高压交流断路器的断口上，用以改善电压分布、降低恢复电压上升率的均压电容器，以下简称“电容器”。
 本标准不适用于高压陶瓷电容器。
