本部分适用于地面固定使用的产品在正常使用中（包括安装、停机和维修等）遇到的环境参数组分类及其严酷等级。
本部分包括产品安装于临时或永久性固定使用的有气候防护场所，如陆地、海边封闭和遮蔽场所。不包括车辆上和车辆内的产品。
本部分规定了仅限于直接影响产品性能的环境条件。只有这一类的环境条件才予以考虑。而不描述这些环境条件对产品的影响。
不考虑由着火、爆破和离子辐射造成的环境条件和其他意外的偶然事故造成的环境条件。在特殊情况下，应考虑这些因素发生的几率。
不包括产品内部的微气候。
