GB/T 4909的本部分规定了裸电线尺寸测量试验的测量工具、试样制备、测量步骤、试验结果及评定等。
本部分适用于测量各种圆形、矩形、异形导体及绞合导体的外形尺寸、圆角半径、节径比和截面积等。
当对外形尺寸等的测量精度有更高要求时，以相应的产品标准为准。
本部分应与GB/T 49091—2009一起使用。
