GB/T 4937的本部分规定了快速温度变化--双液槽法的试验方法。当器件鉴定既可以采用空气空气温度循环又可以采用快速温度变化--双液槽法试验时，优先采用空气空气温度循环试验。本试验也可采用少量循环(5次～10次)的方式来模拟清洗器件的加热液体对器件的影响。
本试验适用于所有的半导体器件。除非在有关规范中另有说明，本试验被认为是破坏性的。
本试验与GB/T 2423.22-2002基本一致，但鉴于半导体器件的特殊要求，采用本部分的条款。
