GB/T 4937的本部分是为了测定半导体器件在中子环境中性能退化的敏感性。
本部分适用于集成电路和半导体分立器件。中子辐照主要针对军事或空间相关的应用，是一种破坏性试验。
试验目的如下：
a）〓检测和测量半导体器件关键参数的退化与中子注量的关系；
b）〓确定规定的半导体器件参数在接受规定水平的中子注量辐射之后是否在规定的极限值之内（见第4章）。
