本标准规定了矿物棉及其制品的垂直度、平整度、尺寸、体积密度、纤维平均直径、渣球含量、酸度系数、吸湿性、油含量、吸水性、有机物含量、热荷重收缩温度等试验方法的相关术语和定义、试验条件、试样的选取、试验方法以及试验记录。
本标准适用于玻璃棉、岩棉、矿渣棉、硅酸铝棉及其制品各项性能的测定。其他绝热材料也可参照使用本标准。吸湿性试验仅适用于无覆面产品。
