本标准依软管内径规定了三种测定橡胶或塑料软管及软管组合件耐真空性能的方法：
方法A——适用于公称内径80 mm（含80 mm）以下的软管；
方法B——适用于公称内径大于80 mm的软管；
方法C——适用于所有尺寸的软管。
方法A和B也可用于检查一根硬壁软管或软管组合件内衬层与增强层之间的粘合（分层）。
