GB/T 6185的本部分规定了2型全金属六角锁紧螺母的型式尺寸、技术条件和标记。

本部分适用于螺纹规格为M5～M36、性能等级为5、8、10和12级、产品等级为A级和B级的2型全金属六角锁紧螺母。A级用于D≤16 mm；B级用于D＞16 mm的螺母。

注： 这种螺母除尺寸mw和hmax外，相当于GB/T 6175螺母。
