本标准规定了采用电化学法测定气体中微量氧的方法,包括燃料电池法、赫兹电池法、氧化锆浓差电池法、离子流法、原电池法等，对仪器、校准、试验步骤、结果处理和试验报告等提出了要求。
本标准适用于不与化学电池发生化学反应且不干扰测定的气体。测定范围：0.01×10-6（体积分数）～1 000×10-6（体积分数）。
