GB/T 6324的本部分规定了测定大多数液体有机化工产品中水分的一种试验方法——卡尔·费休库仑电量法。
本部分适用于测定产品中水的质量分数在0～2.0%。
本部分不适用于能与卡尔·费休试剂的主要成分反应并生成水的样品以及能还原碘或氧化碘化物的样品中水分的测定。
在某些情况下，试样需要预处理措施，它们均在相应的产品标准中做了规定。
