本标准规定了测定泡沫塑料及橡胶的表观总密度和表观芯密度的试验方法。
模制或自由发泡或挤出时形成表皮的材料表观总密度、表观芯密度可用本标准测试。
术语“表观总密度”不适用于在模制时未形成表皮的材料。
对于不规则形状的产品应采用如浮力法等方法进行测定。
