本标准适用于馏分燃料如天然汽油（稳定轻烃）、轻质和中间馏分、车用火花点燃式发动机燃料、航空汽油、喷气燃料、柴油和煤油，以及石脑油和石油溶剂油产品。本标准不适用于含有较多残留物的产品。
注： 用于建立本方法精密度的样品其残留物体积分数均不大于2%。
