本标准规定了锅炉用水和冷却水中硬度的测定方法。本标准适用于锅炉用水和冷却水硬度的测定。本标准中的铬黑T法测定范围为0.01 mmol/L～5 mmol/L，超过5 mmol/L时，〖JP2〗可适当减少取样体积，稀释后测定；酸性铬蓝K法测定范围为〖JP〗1 μmol/L～100 μmol/L； 电位滴定法测定范围为0.25 mmol/L～10 mmol/L（均以Ca2+、Mg2+为基本单元)。本标准也适用于天然水、冷却水、软化水及锅炉给水硬度的测定。
