本标准中重量法适用于硫酸盐含量(以SO42-计)不小于10 mg/L的测定，不适用于使用钡盐阻垢分散剂的工业循环冷却水中硫酸盐的测定；分光光度法适用于硫酸盐含量(以SO42-计)为5 mg/L~200 mg/L的测定；电位滴定法适用于硫酸盐(以SO42-计)含量为5 mg/L~1 000 mg/L的测定。
