本标准规定了船用低压成套开关设备和控制设备的分类、要求、试验方法、试验规则等基本要求。
本标准适用于额定电压为交流不超过1 000 V ，额定频率不超过60 Hz，直流不超过1 500 V 的船用低压成套开关设备和控制设备。
本标准也适用于在更高频率下工作的船用低压成套开关设备和控制设备（以下简称船用成套设备）。
