本标准规定了框架木箱的分级、类型、基本要求、结构与尺寸、钢钉和螺栓的使用方法、组装方法和试验与检验。

本标准适用于内装物质量在0.5 t～40 t，箱的外尺寸在长12.0 m以下、宽5.0 m以下、高5.0 m以下的框架木箱的设计、生产制造与检验。

当框架木箱的内装物质量或尺寸超过本适用范围时，也可参照本标准的规定进行设计。
