1.1 本部分规定了同步发电机及调相机励磁系统的技术要求、试验项目、标志与包装等，本标准适用于与电力系统连接的10 MW及以上的水轮发电机、50 MW及以上透平型同步发电机和调相机的励磁系统。发电电动机励磁系统可参照使用。
1.2 本部分仅适用于下列几种型式的励磁系统。
1.2.1 交流励磁机励磁系统
a) 交流励磁机带静止整流器；
b) 交流励磁机带旋转整流器(无刷励磁系统)。
1.2.2 静止励磁系统
a) 电势源静止励磁系统；
b) 复合源静止励磁系统。
